Summer Riding Program

Horseback riding in Tweng- 6 km from our hotel in Obertauern with well-schooled Warm Bloods; children's rides on Haflingers - and for the littlest kids, we also have ponies that can be led by the reins.

Harald Schütz - the owner, a riding instructor of 30 years and also a state-certified carriage-driving instructor, together with his team, will teach you both theory and practice.  His own riding stables include a sand paddock (20 x 40 meters) as well as a carriage-driving area (50 x 100 m).

Depending on ability levels, we also offer horse trekking and carriage rides to the Twenger Lantschfeld area.

Lessons for Children and Adults

Riding lessons for beginners and experienced equestrians:

• riding lesson (50 minutes, or 25 minutes on the lunge line) EUR 18
• riding course, beginners - experienced riders, 4 lessons tailored to ability level.
  introduction to the horse and tackle, morning or afternoon child services.
  1 riding lesson - lunge line: 20 min.
  1 riding lesson - in the paddock: 50 min.

Carriage rides - lasting about 1 hour are EUR 15 per person min. 4 people, transfer included. All-day carriage tours by appointment only. Borrow a pony and lead it yourself through the beautiful "Lantschfeld" countryside - 1 hour EUR 10
