Nestled in the midst of Salzburg's fantastic mountain world, 100 km of magical slopes await you.  And you won't even need a car, since here in Obertauern you are never more than a few minutes away from all the skiing action.  The lifts are so finely intermeshed, that you'll always be able to return to your original starting point.

Obertauern is one of the snowiest ski areas in the Alps.  For you this means: Perfect ski conditions from the end of November until the beginning of May! Here in the heart of Salzburg's magnificent mountain world, at elevations ranging from 1,630 to 2,313 m above sea level, you will be greeted by 1 cabin lift, 19 chair lifts and 6 tows. Around 100 km of magical ski slopes and 26 km of cross-country ski trails.
